J Dilla Donut Enamel Pin | 3 inch hard enamel pin
February is always a time to honor and remember one of the greatest artists/producers of all time, J Dilla.
For this pin, I wanted to incorporate some of the works of J Dilla. The donut in the pin is an ode to Dilla's last project he released before his passing, titled "Donuts."
The pin illustrates Dilla playing on the MPC, one of his main instruments for his creative process.
I wanted to also pay homage to the city of Detroit, where Dilla is from, so he is wearing a Blue & Orange, paying respect to the Detroit Tigers.
Finally, the backing card for the pin uses the artwork from Dilla's album, "The Shining," which was completed and released shortly after his passing.
This is a high quality, hard enamel pin. It's 3 inches in length and width, perfect for collecting or wearing on heavier articles of clothing, like jackets or bags.
Thank you for your support!
