You're a Nobody!

Artwork for my 2nd project, designed by me. Concept inspired from the Sufi Teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan.

I’m so excited to finally share this. My 2nd beat tape, Nobody, officially went live on all streaming platforms. It’s something that I’ve been holding on to for a while.

For Nobody, I just trusted that the music would be found by whoever needs to find it at a time that’s perfect, whenever that may be. Everything was feeling aligned and in flow for me, from the moment when I decided to combine two project into one (I’ll get to that later) to coming up with the artwork.

To give some back story to the project, I originally had an entirely different tape and concept, but it didn’t feel like the right time to put it out. There were some tracks on there that I felt were filler and I didn’t have a concept for the artwork, so I just shelved it until a better time. In the mean time, I kept creating and became really inspired by music from Asia, and so I started listening to a lot of records from there, specifically 70’s Japan and 70’s Bollywood films. With my projects, even though there aren’t any lyrics, they still pull from my personal experience and what I’m going through at the time.
